Best Western Hampshire Inn

Room 110 was revolting. The floor was sticky enough that you can hear my sneakers sticking in the video, both in the bedroom and the shower. There was crust around the toilet base and pubic hair in the shower, and the room smelled like vomit. I sent the video to corporate and the CEO, and they offered $35 in reward points. What a joke. The video had to be trimmed, so it missed a lot, but this hotel is nasty and they don’t care what you say. Don’t stay here. The powdered eggs weren’t appealing either, though that seems common across the industry.

The warm indoor pool was never crowded, and there’s guest laundry with a credit card machine. Rooms and shared spaces were clean, and breakfast had plenty of choices, including waffles. The workers were all so helpful and nice. It’s about 10 minutes from the boardwalk, with lots of delivery food nearby. Definitely recommend!

The breakfast had a decent range, though a few healthier choices would make it better. Our room felt current and was clean, and the staff were friendly.

The beds felt like slabs of granite, which was my one complaint. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, modern, and nice, with friendly staff. It’s right off the highway and wasn’t too expensive.
