Seagoville Inn

We booked one night recently, but it felt more like sleeping in a dump than staying in a hotel. The blanket was dirty and torn, so disgusting and unbearable that I couldn't cover myself with it. I've never stayed somewhere this terrible in my life. I doubt even homeless people would use a blanket like that. One star feels too generous.

On August 14th at 5:20, the hotel refused to rent me a room because I have a service dog. I'm a professional dog trainer and offered to prove that my dog is a service dog, but the young man said he wouldn't rent to me because I was trying to get them in trouble. I told him I was just explaining the law, since they could be sued for what they were doing. I asked him to look up the Americans With Disability act and explained that refusing me was illegal and discriminatory. He agreed I wasn't being mean. I said I was only trying to explain that they were handling it wrong and could eventually get in trouble for breaking the law. He also said he would allow a pet if I paid a bunch of fees, and I told him that was illegal too.

The WiFi was unreliable, and parking on the eastside was rarely available. The bathroom light and fan were out, and the TV didn't work. They say no smoking, but plenty of smoke came out when doors were open. The smoke detectors were bagged, and the walls looked stained, as if they'd recently been painted. I've had pancakes thicker than those pillows. And 114 for all cocaine needs.

I complained, but they had no real response. I should have read the other comments before booking. The room wasn't clean at all: the sheets hadn't been changed and had several hairs on them, two chairs were stained, there was a grease spot on the dresser, a napkin in the microwave, and a wrapper on the floor. The carpet was dirty and didn't look like it had just been missed for one night. The TV didn't work either. The bathroom ceiling was leaking and had patchwork from problems that clearly hadn't been fixed. I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but stay away.
