There are good things about the community, but the slow response from management and repeated maintenance trouble have made me hesitant to recommend it, especially to anyone bothered by noise or strong smells. The bathroom fans run constantly and can't be switched off. In winter they leave the bathrooms uncomfortably cold, and the noise carries into nearby bedrooms while we're trying to sleep. Management wouldn't add switches, and my accommodation request had still been unresolved for more than ten days. The carpeting gave off a powerful chemical smell for around two weeks, and it caused headaches and irritation. At first management said there was “no odor at the time of tour.” Maintenance later agreed there was a problem and proposed ozone treatment, but they dropped that plan because they felt the smell “wasn’t strong enough” to treat. Soon after we moved in, faulty wiring made the microwave trip the breaker. An outside vendor had to run a new line, cutting through drywall in several spots. It took three days and left dust throughout the apartment. I started out with a good impression of the community, but these issues have made the experience frustrating.
