We had to switch rooms because the first one was filthy, and I took plenty of pictures. The front desk said they were booked for the whole weekend, so there weren't many options. They also blamed some of the condition on remodeling, though other reviews say the work has supposedly been going on since 2019. For one night, $200 felt pretty expensive. The beds were super comfortable, but our room faced the front and traffic and people moving around all night made it hard to sleep. The hall had been vacuumed, but that didn't mean the room was clean. The closet had dirt and a toenail in it, and there was a rat bait trap covered in droppings. The light fixtures were in odd places, too.

After I left, I called about the four jackets I'd hung in the closet. They said nothing had been turned in, and made no effort to get them back to me. Terrible customer service. During my stay, the room needed some TLC, and when I asked for service, they did only the bare minimum. At least it's conveniently near a Walmart.

After a string of so-so hotels during our 10-day vacation, this place was a welcome change. Our room was the cleanest of all of them, with no odors and everything kept up to date. The mattress and pillows were amazing, and breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast and meticulously clean. The young man at the desk was so helpful, and getting a first-floor room was really convenient. Highly recommend.

The rooms were clean, the staff respectful, and there's a big poolside area where you can sit and relax. I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Just know the county is dry, so if you drink alcohol, buy your beverages before you enter it.
