Sleep Inn & Suites near University

The staff really went out of their way for us. They called after finding my mom's clothes still hanging in the closet and offered to keep them until we could return for them. That was so kind. The room itself was clean and brand new, the shower pressure was great, and getting to the highway was easy.

That bed was so comfortable I'd come back just for another night in it. I was there for a few days for a work conference, and despite some small issues, I thought the hotel was good value for the money. It's a budget place, though toward the higher end of that range. I paid a $100 arrival deposit to cover possible smoking or damage, and got my cash back promptly at checkout. The local TV channels were unavailable after a storm, but the free streaming options worked well for me. The gym was new and clean, except one machine was broken. I can't comment on the pool. The floor creaked loudly, which didn't bother me much, though I wondered if it bothered the people below. Dust blew from the air vent when I switched it on, and the edges were chipping. I'm being pretty critical there, since I have high standards from traveling a lot. When I arrived Thursday night, there was only one car in the lot, but more guests showed up over the weekend. I later heard they were reopening after a remodel and building report again within the community, which made the quiet arrival more understandable. Everything looked very clean, and I hope it stays that way once the place isn't new anymore.

My flight was delayed after I'd checked out, and the owner was really sweet about letting me return to my original room for a few more hours until it was time to fly. Super nice.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely return. The fitness room was a favorite, and everything was clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
