Ginny and Lori were lovely hosts, the property is beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay at Captain Sweetser’s Inn and would definitely recommend it for a coastal Maine visit.

A lovely spot with beautiful rooms and a beautiful location. It was very clean and had a home-like feel. Lori and Jenny were so friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. We had a fantastic stay and plan to come back for longer.

The price was more than fair, the breakfast was tasty, and the property is stellar and close to the water. G and L are wonderful hosts. What’s not to love?

We heard some of the Inn’s history and got travel tips from the innkeepers that led us to a few of our favorite parts of the trip. Breakfast was amazing and kept us full well past lunch. The Inn is charming, and we enjoyed sitting in the den and on the back patio, taking in the peaceful scenery. Highly recommend!

The owners made us feel right at home with their warm welcome. Captain Sweetser’s Inn has a cozy, charming feel, and the breakfast was incredible every morning. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to come back.
