Hammock Inn & Suites - Jersey Shore

We rented this for a weekend with friends because we wanted an inexpensive place near the boardwalk. The reviews had us worried, but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms seemed clean and organized, nothing like the pictures we’d seen. The workers we dealt with were kind and understanding, and the outside decks were a great place to hang out and relax. I have no complaints.

The two-bedroom suite worked perfectly for our large family. It came with a mini fridge, microwave, and smart TV, so we could sign into our apps. The beach and boardwalk are close by too. Thanks for everything, we’d definitely stay again!

The one plus is how close it is to the boardwalk. The overnight desk gentleman was pleasant and kept the younger crowd in order. But the rooms looked nothing like the photos, the beds were like cots, and the bathtub was so dirty I had to shower with my shoes on. They don’t have parking, just a parking permit that requires a $300 deposit. I’d never come back.

There was no hot water, rust all over the place, even on the ceiling, and one bedroom floor had a dip that looked like mold or water damage was eating away at the wood. The so-called two-bedroom suite was disgusting and falsely advertised. The listing said one bedroom had two double beds and the other had one, but we arrived to find one bed in each bedroom and the third in an open area that was supposed to be the living room. There was only one tiny TV. I felt like I’d been dumped in a shelter. They also charged a $200 security deposit. Absolutely do not recommend.
