When we arrived, the outdoor lights were flickering, the pool was green, and a note on the door told us to call a phone number. I called at least five times. We stayed for half an hour, then decided we needed to book somewhere else. I’d called ahead to say we’d be arriving late. We were charged the full price, over $300, for a stay we couldn’t have, through no fault of our own. Choice Hotels, the parent company, hasn’t been helpful either. I do NOT recommend even considering this hotel.

Abdul, the manager, is amazing, always pleasant and accommodating, and he definitely makes the experience better. The rooms are clean and the AC works well. The pool area is always full, but the pool itself is still clean. There’s also a grilling area and picnic tables for eating.

The towels they said were clean had feces on them, and when they moved me to another room, it was just as bad. The place was filthy and smelled awful, with dirt everywhere. They wouldn't refund me because I'd been there for an hour. Don't bring your family here, it was horrible.

I had to cancel because of a family emergency and never stayed. It took more than two and a half weeks and three calls to Choice Hotels Customer Service to get my refund. I'd stay somewhere else.

The staff made a great impression, and I'll definitely come back. It's an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk, with lots of restaurants nearby. The prices were by far the best I could find around here, and everyone was very friendly.
