The people who run this place are great, the employees are wonderful, the location is good, cleaning is efficient, and every room has a fireplace. But the building has paper-thin walls. You can hear every word from next door. If neighbors are playing a board game, you know whose turn it is. If they come back late, you hear them talk about their day. And if they're being affectionate, you hear all of it. I called the after-hours help line, and they quickly asked the other guests to quiet down. Still, I wouldn't feel comfortable letting my kid sleep there and hear everything, and I wouldn't want to sleep there myself. Great place run by great people? Yes. Would I stay again? Unfortunately, no.

After a day hiking and exploring, it felt so cozy and welcoming to come back to the room. The plates, bowls, cups, and fireplace were nice touches that made it feel like home. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We could walk to everything from this perfect location, but it was far enough away to be quiet. I honestly can't wait to go back. Thanks again.

The view is incredible, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. For what you get, the price feels more than fair and affordable. Management were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We love this place, and Inn at the Shore will be our first choice whenever we visit Seaside.

Seaside has plenty of inns, motels, and hotels, so picking one can feel overwhelming. My partner planned a lovely coastal trip for Valentine's Day weekend and booked us a jacuzzi room here. It was fairly affordable and more spacious than places we've stayed in the past, with everything we needed for a short trip. We had a wonderful ocean view from the balcony, and the beach was an easy walk away. The inn sits along the promenade, with places to eat nearby. The room and facilities were clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. The TV only has basic cable, but there's a small, varied DVD collection you can rent from. I really enjoyed the stay.

The oceanfront view is hard to beat, and the small kitchen and refrigerator were very nice. This was our second stay, and I think we'll come back since it's a pretty good place to stay in Seaside. It's along the promenade walkway, with a path down to the beach if you'd rather be on the sand. I struggled with the bed and the lack of bedding. There was an extra blanket, but I was still cold until I got up for socks, pajama bottoms, and a T-shirt. Even then, sleep wasn't great. To be fair, I'd turned the thermostat off, and I won't make that mistake tonight. The couches also feel really weird: some kind of air bag squishes when you sit and refills once you stand. If we stay again, I'll remember to bring full pajamas.
