Rebecca at the front desk was warm and welcoming, the bedding was fresh, and the stay was generally fine. For the price, Motel 6 is a good value and a great option for people traveling with dogs. The designated pet area is fairly small, though I found a good alternative behind the neighboring hotel for walking the dogs and letting them do their business. I recommend that spot. Noise between rooms, a long-standing problem, was noticeable. About an hour and a half before checkout, housekeepers were waiting right outside our door in the hallway. It would be better if they waited somewhere less visible. And to other guests: there's a trash can by the dog waste bag dispenser. Why aren't you picking up after your dogs? You should be ashamed. If you can't do something that basic, you don't deserve a pet.

These people take pride in their work, and the rooms are so clean. KC, the manager, is absolutely awesome, and Kyle has been so helpful. Diego and the housekeeping team are awesome too. The place offers just the bare minimum, but what you get in return is worth a visit and a stay. I love these people. They're wonderful.

I'd give this Motel 6 two and a half stars, rounded up to three. We've paid more for less at other motels and hotels, so I expected disappointment during our two-night coastal stay. This place was adequate and a reprieve from the spread of bad lodging in America. The facility was clean, and the desk clerks were friendly and professional. Coffee is available in the lobby from 5:00 in the morning, though the cream is powdered. I'm easy to please. In winter, cold coastal drafts must be unpleasant for employees when the lobby doors open, so Motel 6 should add a foyer. Our room was missed by maid service. The front desk clerk gave us clean towels and bath tissue, and we used an extra bag to deal with overflowing garbage. Since we were leaving after two nights, I didn't push the issue, but I would have made sure the maids cleaned if we were staying a third. I also found it odd there were no 'Do not disturb' hangers. The security deadbolt stops anyone from entering, but wouldn't you want a sign so people know not to knock when the bed is rocking?

The rooms are cramped, with only a basic TV, and somehow they found an even smaller flat screen. There's just one cart for the whole hotel, and the water barely gets above room temperature. I'm not impressed. I'd cancel if booking didn't mean paying the full price. I won't recommend it or come back.

The staff were friendly and said they'd be available around the clock if I needed anything. My TV is small but has a great picture, and there's a mini fridge with plenty of room plus a microwave. The mattress is firm, with lots of floor space since the room has just one queen bed. There's a full-length mirror, though I don't know if every room has one or if it's specific to this room. I just arrived and didn't realize there was no elevator to the second floor. I made three trips up and down to carry my things, so ask for a ground-floor room if you need one. There's no coffee maker in the room. I hope they serve coffee in the morning, or I'll have to drive somewhere. My room is right by the stairs, but so far I haven't heard other guests. Parking is only on one side of the building by the entrance. If your room isn't on that side, you can't see your vehicle if you're worried about it.
