The employees are always wonderful and fun to talk to. I enjoy every one of them, and I usually stay here because it's nice, the views are pretty good, and it isn't too expensive. Still, it feels like some small finishing details need another pass. There are a few places with exposed drywall and other little things that could be fixed. Maybe six months of solid quality work would make this a perfect hotel to keep coming back to. It wasn't a bad experience at all, but I wish they'd put a tiny bit more effort into developing the place.

You can walk out the back of the hotel onto the promenade, then take a few steps to the sand. I love getting takeout from Finn's and eating with that close view of the ocean. The views are great, and the spa tubs are wonderful too. The rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors are really nice, though I'm not sure whether the rest of the hotel has been updated. They're warm, quiet, and cozy, and seem well soundproofed since I rarely hear other people moving around. The staff is always on point, and they usually have a pack n play available for my little one.

The oceanfront penthouse suite had an amazing view, and the location just off the Prom was perfect for our event. We rented the suite with the jacuzzi tub and enjoyed our visit. The beds were clean and comfortable, though the carpets could use a cleaning. There also isn't much shower privacy if you're traveling with kids or another couple. We hope to come back one day.

The view was really spectacular, but for the price we'd want to heat food and drinks in our own room, so we likely wouldn't stay again. Our queen room had a Keurig and mini fridge, plus a couple of paper cups, but no microwave, mugs, utensils, or fan. The fireplace didn't work either. There was a microwave on the 3rd floor, which meant taking the elevator to warm up dinner, and I couldn't find a beverage vending machine. The old candy in the vending machine wasn't much use, and we had to ask local restaurants for cutlery. How are you supposed to eat in the room without it? It almost felt like an upscale hostel. The room itself was very clean, with no odd smells, stains, or mystery hairs. The bed was mid-range, but the pillows were nice. I guess having almost no amenities is standard there.

The room's actual keys were no issue at all, and parking across the way wasn't a problem either. The front desk was just a 20 second walk from our car. We spent one night in the NW Timber suite, and it was amazing: clean, with great views and a spa tub that was the cherry on top. We'd definitely stay again :)
