Days Inn by Wyndham Seatac Airport

After my rental car was damaged in the hotel's free lot, I filed a police report right away and gave the case number to the front desk. They still wouldn't make even a basic incident report. I wasn't asking them to accept liability, just to provide written documentation, but got no support at all. Airport travelers should know they may be left on their own if something happens to their vehicle here.

We left for the day with the “Lights Out” sign on the door so housekeeping wouldn't come in. When we got back, the sign was gone, the curtains were wide open, and the windows were cracked, though we'd shut them because of the cold. The whole room smelled strongly of weed. I thought this was a 100% smoke-free building. I'm in the Navy, and being around that smell could make me lose my job.

We won't stay here again. The people above us were loud enough to shake the room with their footsteps, and then there was loud sex and bed noise. Traffic outside was constant, and we could hear everyone's hallway conversations. They gave us just one coffee packet. Breakfast was only bread, tiny muffins, cereal, and juice. If you do stay, get a top-floor room as far as possible from the street and elevator. We learned the hard way. A better hotel farther from the airport would be worth it.

I checked out as soon as I collected my things. Both windows were open in the middle of January, the sheets were piled on the couch and dresser instead of on either bed, and the bathroom floor was wet and looked dirty. Used soap and trash were still by the sink. The front desk said the room had been cleaned, but they had forgotten the sheets. I don't need anything fancy, just a clean room, and this place didn't provide that at all. I'd never recommend staying here, unless it was life or death. Even then, I'd rather freeze than come back.
