My mom and I spent four nights here and had a great stay. We stayed in the castle room, with two single beds. It was cozy and comfortable, and the house was clean and very well maintained. One thing to know about that room: the bedroom is upstairs, while the bathroom is on the main floor, so you'll be using the stairs. The bathroom has a tub with an attachment you can take off to rinse your body or hair, rather than a regular shower. It felt a bit cramped, and there wasn't much space for toiletries while getting ready. The owner was easy to talk to and had lots of helpful information about West Seattle and the area. Breakfast was generally good, though a bit fancier than what I'd normally eat. The coconut waffles with banana and caramel-style sauce on the third morning were unbelievably delicious. The B&B is well placed in West Seattle, though we didn't get to explore much of the neighborhood. There's a bus into downtown, about a five-minute walk up a hill, and we also used local transit and Lyft. There are two dogs in the house. We're dog people, so that was fine for us, but they barked a lot at 6 am on the third morning and woke me up. They're long-haired and shed, so this probably isn't a good spot if you have dog allergies. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We'd even change our travel dates if that's what it took to stay here again. This is the only place we'll consider for future trips to the area. It's a fantastic B&B, with a beautiful house, amazing staff, and a great location. No hotel nearby can compete.

This is a unique part of West Seattle, but there was quite a bit of dust and dog dander in the house. If you're allergic to animals, bring your allergy medicine or consider staying somewhere else. The dog was cute, though.

The place is very nice, and the staff are nice too, but I wish the listing had made two things clear: the private bathroom isn't in the room, and dogs live in the house.

It's a beautiful home, and the dog is really friendly. Maybe I'm just not used to the setting, but I felt like I needed to tiptoe everywhere.
