Chelsie at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and made us feel genuinely cared for. The staff and manager also investigated a breakfast charge that someone had put on our room, then removed it after confirming it wasn't ours. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was decent. The air conditioning was awkwardly placed, blowing onto one side of the bed. Lowering the temperature made that person cold, while raising it left the other person hot. We managed, but I woke up with a bad stomach on the first day. The elevators were another frustration. During our busy three day stay, with a conference going on, I spent more than 30 minutes waiting in total. There seemed to be too few running, though things improved by day three. Those issues wouldn't stop me from returning or recommending the hotel, but I hope management takes note.

The hotel is spotless, beautiful, quiet, and cozy. I felt comfortable and at ease in my spacious room with a king bed and walk-in shower. Some rooms have tubs for accessibility. Michael at the front desk was delightful, patient with my questions, and friendly. Everyone I've met has been willing to listen and help. The market cafe food is alright. If you order DoorDash and want it brought to your room, it can take about 20 minutes after it arrives, so I recommend picking it up yourself. I'd definitely stay here again.

Bringing my service dog along for my birthday celebration was easy, and I loved how welcoming the hotel was to pets. The rooms looked stunning, with amazing city views, and the staff went out of their way to make the occasion feel memorable. From the moment we arrived, the upscale atmosphere made it feel special. It's rare to find luxury with such a welcoming attitude toward pets. I'll definitely be back for another special occasion in downtown Seattle.

The weak shower pressure felt like standing under a leaking pipe, and there was hair in the bathtub. That was a terrible start. We tried the downstairs restaurant because it looked nice, but spending $50 on meatballs and a cocktail was a mistake. The meatballs seemed reheated, were dry and lifeless, and tasted suspicious. I had diarrhea all night and couldn't sleep. I can't say for certain what caused it, but I felt like I'd paid too much for mediocre food and ended up with food poisoning. The location is good, and the restaurant and bar look appealing at first. But the lack of cleanliness and the food made the place feel careless. Without serious improvement to hygiene, food handling, and quality control, it's a pretty shell and a liability. This stay went from okay to never again.
