We had a reservation, but when we arrived, a sign on the office window said staff weren't there and gave a number to call. We asked if we could come in an hour early, and the woman on the phone answered very rudely. We waited and returned at our reservation time, only to find the same woman at the front desk. She asked for ID and a credit card. When we said we only had a debit card, she raised her voice instead of explaining things nicely. While showing us something on her screen, we tried to explain, but she rudely told us to stop talking and be quiet. The staff and service were so rude that we're never coming back.

Even with a late booking for a big event, it was really cheap and easy to reserve. The room was very clean, and I checked for bedbugs. There were none. The staff were amazing. They were short staffed but still went above and beyond what they're paid to do. I had a really good stay, and feeling safe and not having bedbugs mattered most.

Check-in was easy, there were no live bugs, the bus was nearby, and most of the appliances worked. But the room smelled so bad that I immediately bought a can of Lysol. I woke up with back pain during the night, too. The place is run down and poorly maintained, and it seems like they need more staff. There's no reason it should be in such bad shape.

The room had a comfy bed, soft pillows, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I liked the chairs at the table, though they were heavy. What put me off was how many things were broken. The bathtub trim was held together with clear packing tape and had strange yellowish-brown spots in places. The light cover over the faucet was broken in more than one spot, and a piece of wood that looked broken kept the small rear windows locked in place.
