Oxford Seattle

The room stayed tidy throughout our visit thanks to housekeeping, and it was comfortable, clean, and had what we needed. The bed was cozy, and the quiet made it easy to rest after a long day. Staff were friendly and professional whenever we had a question or request. We also had a warm welcome and a quick, smooth check-in. For the price, it felt like good value. I'd consider staying here again, whether for work or a trip.

The views were incredible, and our adorable room had plenty of space, comfortable furniture, and a full kitchen. We were minutes from Pike Place, too. Everyone who helped us was great, including Hanon, Muna, Bianca, and a service technician who remembered us and greeted us kindly the next day. We'd recommend it and would stay again.

The beds squeaked and made it hard to sleep, and some cleaning seemed to have been neglected. If you're out of the room most of the time, that may not matter much. The staff were polite and handled our concern promptly and effectively. Still, this wasn't what had been advertised. We got confirmation only an hour in advance, with no mention of the broken elevator; when we arrived, we learned our room was on the top floor and had to climb all the way up. They hadn't told us before the reservation, which makes me think this happens often. This might suit a budget traveler who cares more about seeing the city than getting a good night's sleep.

It was surprisingly quiet, so you wouldn't think you were in the middle of a busy city. The location also makes getting around easy: Westlake Station and several bus stops are nearby, and the monorail is a few blocks away for trips to the Space Needle. From Seattle Airport, you can take the light rail to Westlake Station. Target is just a few blocks away for groceries, and Pike Place Market is close too. A great-value option if you're visiting Seattle on vacation and want to see the attractions. I highly recommend it.
