Pivot Apartments Capitol Hill

The rooftop was a quiet, easy-to-access place to hang out before heading out. The location in Seattle was great too, about a 15-minute walk to Pike Place and the rest of Capitol Hill. For the price, convenience, and amenities, it can’t be beat. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Getting around was easy: major bus lines stop right in front, and the city’s transit app helped too. My room felt like a furnished apartment, very modern and spotless. I only saw one staff member, but they were really helpful. There’s no real front desk, and the hotel takes up only part of the building. Everything from confirming the reservation to checking out runs through the app. Registration asks for a higher level of security information, which felt intrusive at first. After reading the fine print, I trusted their system, and the process was easy. The view of downtown was nice, though smoky. Across the street, road reconstruction meant noise and blocked roads and sidewalks. At first I noticed a lot of unhoused people nearby, but after spending more time around the city, it seemed pretty standard wherever I went. The building is brand new, and the whole experience felt so modern it was almost weird.

My first time staying with Sonder went really well. The property was clean, spacious enough for my trip, and conveniently located for the attractions I wanted to see. I’d recommend it, and I’m looking forward to trying other locations around the country.

The neighborhood had lots of interesting shops and places to eat within walking distance. It was lively without feeling too crowded or noisy. At Pivot, our room was super clean, the kitchen was really useful, and the rooftop access was a nice bonus. We also appreciated the free luggage lockers when our flight arrived early. And the amenity shelves were handy: when we needed more towels or soap, we could just go downstairs and pick them up instead of messaging someone. We loved our stay and will look at Sonders for future trips.
