There isn't a pool or gym, but the price was good for such a large room. The hotel used to be an apartment building, and one room has a bedroom, kitchen, and living room, with plenty of seating for a group. The building is beautiful, with architectural details you don't see much anymore. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the neighborhood felt safe.

It's an inexpensive option compared with other Seattle hotels. The building is older, but clean, and check-in and checkout were quick. I've stayed here for two football events. LUMEN field is a mile downhill, and if you're coming by light rail, I'd get off at capital hill. It's a half-mile downhill walk to the hotel.

The rooms are old, and they weren't cleaned well. I also found some very large flies in mine. For the same price, or about 20 bucks more, there are better hotels a few blocks away. I'd spend the money somewhere else.

The guys at the front desk were nice and helpful, and the maintenance guys were very nice too. That's a plus, but the place definitely wasn't worth the price. My door still stays fully open from the outside, even after they fixed the door keys. The only thing holding it is the 1950s chain lock. The appliances don't work, and the ones that might look old enough to start a fire.

The location was wonderful, and I had an incredible time at the Baroness. The Doorman broke three of my ribs with a rolling cart, but apart from that, it was a great stay!
