Best Western Plus Meadowlands

The coffee and hot chocolate machine is available around the clock, which is handy for a quick refresh or taking something along. Breakfast has a decent range, though it gets crowded in the morning; they open the conference rooms for extra space. The rooms were clean and staff pleasant. Parking felt safe, and public transport was easy to reach from this central location. The elevators were a little slow, but worked well. Not much else to complain about.

We’re here for three nights, and check-in was smooth. Our room, 611, is clean but sweltering because the air conditioning isn’t cooling it properly. It’s near the elevator, and the hall is incredibly noisy. People and kids seem to have to shout instead of speak normally, and the doors slam. Breakfast is very poorly organized. There’s one toaster for the whole hotel, so the line goes all the way to Manhattan, and there’s no coffee. Skip it. Don’t offer breakfast if you can’t handle it. There are plenty of nearby hotels, so choose another one.

I was really happy with my stay. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good, and there are plenty of food choices nearby along with Walmart and other stores. A bus stop close by makes getting into nyc easy. The only small hassle was that the elevator signs were out, so you can’t tell which floor you’re on from inside. The floor number is on the door frame, though. I’d happily recommend staying here!

For our NYC vacation, the location worked well: a quick bus ride gets you to port authority, and you don’t have to deal with parking or traffic in the city. The place was clean and service was excellent. Breakfast was the one letdown. The food was pretty stale, and the room was much too small for the number of people trying to fit in.
