Harmony Suites

I left my wallet at the counter by accident, and the staff called to let me know they’d found it. I really appreciated that. They were helpful and pleasant with every question I asked. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and breakfast was well managed, with staff taking care of the food stations so the area stayed tidy and under control. The hotel is close to American dream mall, restaurants, and other amenities. The area felt safe, and I’ll come back whenever I’m nearby.

This worked well for our family of four visiting NYC. We drove and had free parking, and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. The bus ride on the 320 to Port Authority bus terminal took about 20 minutes most of the time, and we went into the city every day over our six-night stay. The rooms are large, and the bedding and towels were good quality. Staff were nice and helpful, and charges matched what we expected since we booked directly. Breakfast was acceptable, though the hotel coffee was bad enough that I walked to Starbucks every morning. The decor is outdated, but we didn’t mind. We didn’t use the pool or gym.

Getting around was easy, with a bus and subway close by, and we chose this affordable hotel to see the Macys parade without staying too far from NYC. The hotel was huge and beautiful inside. From our room on the sixth floor, the three elevators were quick and we never had to wait. Our room had two king-size beds, one in a separate area with its own door for privacy. Each bed area had a TV, plus there was a little sink. Breakfast was served in a large area and was clean and varied. They give you tickets to hand in, and someone makes waffles and omelettes. There was also bacon, sausage, fries, and fresh pastries. The staff were very friendly.

The breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good choice of things to start the day. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and ready to help. At Harmony Suites Secaucus Meadowlands, the suites felt roomy and clean, with comfortable beds, modern décor, and rooms that seemed well maintained. I felt relaxed as soon as I came in, and it seemed like a good fit for either business or leisure.
