Aiden by Best Western Sedona

Away from Sedona’s busier tourist area, this hotel was still close to restaurants, groceries, convenience stores, the hikes we wanted to do, and old cottonwood. It was quiet and had a relaxed feel, with photos of local hikes and QR codes for more information. The room was comfortable and nicely put together. Check-in was smooth, and the gentleman at the desk was friendly and down to earth. He had some classic rock playing, including my wife’s favorite band on her birthday, which set a nice tone. Breakfast was consistently good, and the coffee machine had a nifty K-cup option for lattes. It’s a nice low-key hotel with a good balance of comfort and value.

West Sedona suits me best. It doesn’t feel set up for tourists like Upper Sedona, but it’s not way out in Oak Creek either, so the location was perfect for me. It’s also very convenient, and the view from the room was incredible for what we paid. The room was spacious and super clean, especially the bathroom, which literally sparkled. I only wish the shower pressure had been stronger. The front desk staff were lovely. Breakfast was included, basic but fine. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The views were lovely, and we had a great stay from Wednesday through Monday. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, though we were disappointed that there was no warning that hot food wouldn’t be available Monday. Room 309’s TV remote didn’t work. The place was clean and friendly.

The hotel is right on the main road, so stores and restaurants are close. Staff were amazing, rooms spotless, and the free vortex soda at check-in was a nice touch. I highly recommend the Sedona sunset. We didn’t book a balcony room, but I’d definitely do that next time. There was no microwave in our room, which was fine. We ate our sandwiches cold and had brought sandwich fixings anyway. The massage chair was great, though one needs repair. The fitness and community rooms were good, and there’s a fenced dog area with a little statue and a picnic bench. Breakfast included eggs and sausage, bagels, croissants, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and toast or bread with spreads. There’s a coffee machine at the front, and you can get a hot chocolate pod to make in your room.
