Jasmine made check-in such a warm experience. I hope I’ve got her name right. She was friendly, and as a Bonvoy Gold elite member I asked for a late checkout, which she granted with a big smile. My wife and I were impressed by how professional and kind she was, and she even suggested places nearby. After years of work travel and hundreds of hotels around the world, I know how much a welcoming arrival can shape a short stay. It can make a small inconvenience easy to overlook. Kudos to Jasmine and the whole staff for representing Marriott so well. We were here for one night while traveling from Connecticut to Rhode Island for a wedding. The hotel is brand new and opened around the middle of April this year (2026). The lobby is laid out nicely, there’s plenty of parking, and a small roundabout out front for check-in. We had a comfortable studio with a full kitchen and a nicely sized bathroom. Everything was very clean, the shower pressure was excellent, and the furniture was nice. The mattress was average to above average, and the linen fit the TownePlace Suites category, around 2 to 3 stars. Since everything was new, the room felt even nicer. They also have a one-bedroom option. I’d definitely stay again and look forward to coming back. Hopefully the new Whole Foods in the shopping complex will be open by then.

I’ve been staying here for a month while working on a local project. The staff keep going above and beyond, especially David, the night auditor, and Jasmine on the day shift. There’s another front desk staff member during the day whose name I haven’t learned yet. Keep up the great service. I’m looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Jennine S

They were building a Whole Foods in the parking lot, which should be handy for guests once it opens. At check-in the staff were very nice, and there were fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies at the desk. My room was very clean, and the free breakfast in the morning was good and well attended.

My wife and I tried to check in as walk-ins very late on a Saturday night. After we gave our card and Marriott Bonvoy information, the night attendant, who said his name was Brian, charged my card $310. He then refused us water, saying apparently we weren’t “elite” enough Bonvoy members to get water at check-in. His rude, inhospitable manner made us feel unwelcome, so we decided not to stay. Brian said the booking had become non-refundable once he ran the card, though nobody had told us that beforehand. He wouldn’t reverse the $310 charge, which had happened moments earlier, and berated us when we asked for his name so we could identify him to customer service and the general manager. We never left the lobby, and we weren’t given keys or even a room number, yet the charge is supposedly non-refundable. I worked in hotels for years and know this transaction could easily have been reversed with a few clicks. Under these circumstances, the hotel’s response made no sense and showed no customer service or hospitality. I know the hotel is new, but this was unacceptable service, particularly toward someone who’s been a Bonvoy member for years. We’re now seeking a refund through Marriott customer service and our credit card, and will pursue every available legal avenue. We’ll happily book with Hilton from now on.
