9 Motel

I've stayed in different rooms here, and they're not consistent. Sometimes the TV is broken or the remote has no batteries. I've replaced batteries myself. They wouldn't let me pay for another night because they were upset that my clients hadn't checked in at the front desk. I have texts telling each one to stop at reception. Is it my fault if they lied? They kicked me out while I still had all my stuff with me. I said I'd leave, but I had a lot to move. I left my $40 deposit as a statement. The owner is rude to customers and bad at business. I was completely upfront with him, but he still said I couldn't stay, even though I come back often and have been loyal. 2/10, wouldn't recommend.

I travel to Colorado every September and plan to stay here next year. I was here in September 2024, and I liked the motel. The clerk seemed very conscientious, almost as if he were the owner, though maybe he was. Breakfast was just tiny pastries, nothing special. I don't usually post reviews, but after a bad experience at another motel recently, I wanted to give credit to the good motels I've stayed at over the last two years.

I wanted a cheap, quiet place for a few days after getting back into town, and had no problems during my first two nights. I checked out, then came back for a third night I'd booked online. They said I couldn't stay because a couple of friends had visited for a few hours without showing ID at the front desk. None stayed long. I was quiet and respectful, kept the room clean, and had friends and family stop by. I understand requiring ID from someone staying overnight, but requiring it from a visitor seems ridiculous. They never mentioned this until it became an issue. First they claimed there was no availability, then said they'd reviewed the cameras and seen my visitors. I'm an adult who values privacy, and it felt like they were implying I was up to something. One visitor was my brother, though that's nobody's business. Very unprofessional. I won't return. If you care about your privacy, don't stay here.

This has become our go-to place lately, and we're thankful for it. Fresh coffee is ready at 7 every morning. The staff are kind, helpful, and friendly, and the rooms are nice and clean. There's good stuff here for longer stays or shorter ones.
