TownePlace Suites by Marriott Seguin

It’s in a good location, but the service was really poor. The staff weren’t attentive, breakfast was bad, and the internet didn’t work on the 3rd floor. For somewhere calling itself “suites,” the experience and service fell far short of what I’d expect, and it wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff at the townhome suites Marriott were amazing, cordial, and met any request. The rooms didn’t measure up: tiles in the bathroom were broken or loose underfoot, and the elevators had the same issue. Every room seemed to have one large bed and one full-size bed, which made the room feel cramped. My family met in the clean lobby, and the coffee was great, but the rooms brought down the rating. Definitely not Marriott standards.

My daughter and I felt safe, and the food was nice and delicious. The room had an unpleasant smell, so I used an air freshener. The couch and bed were dirty, so I called the desk and asked them to clean and sanitize them and change everything before we got back from the tournament. I’d rate it a three.

The photos are definitely misleading. The staff were very friendly, but the pool wasn’t as nice or clean as it looked in the photo, and the bottom was all brown and green. One room had mold, the AC wasn’t working in another, and the pull-out beds were very uncomfortable. This location needs an update.
