Quality Inn Selah North Park

The room was a decent size, though it had an odd smell. Breakfast was the usual selection, nothing bad.

We’d mostly stopped choosing Quality Inns, but this one was a pleasant surprise. The room was huge, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The shower had great water pressure, breakfast offered a nice selection, and the staff were very friendly.

The bed felt like a board, and the pool was ice cold. The website says there’s a heated pool and spa, and the in-room book also shows a pool and spa by the front desk, but that wasn’t what we found. At checkout I mentioned the bed to the front desk, and she said she’d pass a message to the manager. He never called. I also filed a complaint with the corporate office and heard nothing, so I called today and got the hotel manager. I could barely understand half of what he said. He kept repeating that the pool and breakfast were free, but when I asked for my money back, he said no. I asked for an email address so I could show him what the website lists under property amenities. I still couldn’t make out what he was saying, and he got rude, repeating that the pool and breakfast were free. He couldn’t care less about customers. Book in Yakima.

Cozy, clean rooms with a cute country feel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.
