The Washington House

The staff made us feel like we were the only guests there, and they even acknowledged my birthday. We were in Sellersville for The Magical Mystery Doors concert on 3/1/26, which was fantastic, and decided to stay overnight after it was highly recommended to us. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the whole stay, including the concert at the theatre, was wonderful from start to finish. We’ll be back! Patti and Mike Apice

Victoria was phenomenal, so bright and attentive, and she made our Christmas Eve lunch feel special. The dining rooms looked beautiful, and the price for the prix fixe meal was great. The food was more mixed. The steak was cooked well, but there was a disk of frozen flavored butter on the edge with its wrapper still on, and the broccoli was overdone. The roast duck leg was dry and tough. The dessert option was very nice. We’ll give the place another chance, maybe when the regular menu is being offered.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I’m vegetarian, and I really enjoyed my vegan meal, while my husband said his pork chop was one of the best he’d ever tasted. We were seated right away even though we arrived 25 minutes early. We hadn’t been before and weren’t sure what to expect, but the place was cozy and elegant, with fantastic service. I wish I remembered our server’s name, she was outstanding. The fresh after-dinner coffee and apple-cranberry crumb dessert were wonderful. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

We had to wait until 7:00 for our 6:30 Saturday night reservation, but we weren’t in a hurry. Once we were seated, our server told us the manager had comped our drinks because of the wait. The food was fantastic. My wife had the crab and shrimp cakes and could only finish one, while I had an outstanding short rib dish. We also shared breaded calamari seasoned with oregano, then finished with a delicious, light cheesecake. I highly recommend this place for dinner before or after a show.
