Inn of the Dove

The room looked dirty enough that it seemed like dogs had been living there, even though dogs aren’t allowed. There were stains on the bed sheets that looked like someone had wet the bed, so I’d bring your own bedding and towels. Housekeeping came every day but only brought nasty, stained towels. I turned them away for a few days, then the front desk insisted they were going to come clean the room, when all they’d do was bring more dirty towels and sheets. The owners aren’t friendly either. They don’t smile or thank guests, and you should be ready to pay cash.

Tony helped me find a room for the night when I needed a last-minute stop. It had been a rough night, but he made me feel welcome and at home at the inn of the dives inn. Thank you, sir.

It’s an older place, but quiet, and management doesn’t put up with any BS. I had a great stay and will come back.

There’s no sink in the bathroom, just one around the corner in the kitchen area. The room was nice, the staff were pleasant, and it was quiet and calm. No hidden fees or crazy taxes, and a carport comes with the room. It’s small and nothing fancy, but clean and seemed like a safe place to rest. I think it’s a little overpriced, though the rates are in line with other hotels.
