Selma Motel

The people in the office were really friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The sheets were bright white and looked clean, but the stained bedspread came right off as soon as I saw it. There was dust and a lot of spiderwebs around the room. It looked like they’d been there long enough that someone should have noticed and cleaned them. I got a quick rest before a long drive on the freeway, then left early. I wouldn’t stay there again.

I found the motel very unclean, and the room didn’t seem to be cleaned or sanitized. There were homeless people and people using drugs around the property, with partying through the night. I wouldn’t consider it safe for families or children, and would avoid it if you have kids. If you can’t find anywhere else for the night, be very careful.

For what I paid, I can’t complain much. It was an okay stay, and the place was kept up better than I expected. The air conditioner handled the summer heat just fine.

I’m enjoying the relaxing view and my stay. There are lots of stores, markets, and places to eat nearby, so you don’t have to go far. The front desk staff are cheerful and accommodating too.
