The front office looked more like a storage unit than a hotel, with junk visible from the parking lot, tacky stickers, and handwritten notes covering the windows and door. Getting inside was confusing too, with a buzz-locked entrance, a phone, and two doorbells. Once I got in, the front desk woman was rude and unhelpful. There was clearly a language barrier, but instead of trying to understand me, she raised her voice and made the exchange uncomfortable. The atmosphere, service, and professionalism were badly lacking, and this place doesn't represent what Seneca has to offer. I gave it two stars rather than one only because the basic functions were intact. And don't be fooled by the good reviews, they're all from friends or locals who live there.

I booked the room for my brother and his wife during the power outage from Hurricane Helene. He said he noticed maggots in the carpet the next morning, so he checked out and went home. Thankfully, the power was restored later that day.

We got a clean room for a great price. The only problem was that we asked for non-smoking, but the room had cigarette burns all over the tub. Also, the toilet is perfectly round and about the size of a Cheerio, so you can't pee while pooping.

The room smelled like smoke, the refrigerator didn't work, and the remote was missing. There was mold around the soap dish and in the upper corners of the tub, and the hair dryer plug was split. The price was too high for such poor accommodations.

The room was very big and very clean. There is a $25 deposit, which I think is understandable. You get it back as long as you don't destroy the room.
