The location worked well for restaurants and shopping in Sequim, and as a starting point for outdoor activities around the Peninsula. The Mexican restaurant across the street makes killer margaritas, too. The people were nice, and the mattress was better than average. It’s clean and comfortable, without anything fancy. Staff are working hard on upgrades, including flooring, bathroom remodeling, and landscaping, though some of the furniture is in rough shape.

Amy at reception was welcoming and really helpful. The room was clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom door hinges need oil, and the coffee could be better.

Amy was great on the phone and gave clear directions. She even called while I was on my way in, in case I arrived after the lobby closed. When I got there, she had the answers, paperwork, and advice ready. Clean room and a GREAT price. I’d definitely stay again.

After staying at eight hotels and motels during our Washington state trip, this was easily the worst. The room felt dark, gloomy, and dated, and it was noisy from roads on both sides. The battered front door didn’t seem to fit its frame. Given how positive the earlier reviews were, I was very disappointed. It’s probably worth paying a little more to stay somewhere nicer.
