Sleep Inn Columbia

The room was clean, and it was nice and quiet. I like a firm mattress, so the bed suited me. Breakfast was the main letdown: even though we went down very early each time, most of the food was already gone. There was an event going on nearby, so that may explain the service. I thought I'd already booked a room, but apparently hadn't. They still managed to fit me and my family in, which I appreciated. We were about a 15 to 20 minute drive from the base where we were visiting my son for his National Guard Army graduation, and there seemed to be plenty of places around for our travel needs. I'd stay here again.

We picked this place because it was close to the airport, and I'd stay again. The room smelled clean when we walked in. The shower had no hair in it, the beds were made nicely, and the fridge and microwave were clean. The AC was already set to 74, which was a relief after walking in. The staff were friendly. Beth was especially great, always busy and getting a lot done.

I didn't try the free breakfast since I work late and sleep late, but Sabrina let me know about it when I checked in, which was helpful. She was also efficient and kind, and helped when I realized at checkout that I'd left my medication in the room. Everyone on staff was pleasant and helpful during my work trip.

The breakfast buffet had a nice selection, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. The rooms were really clean and smelled fresh, without that stale, musty odor. I had a wonderful stay and will make this my regular spot when I'm in columbia.
