Best Western Sevierville/Kodak Inn

The staff were helpful, everything worked, and the free breakfast was better than most. The room was spacious, with a soft, comfortable bed and soft bath towels. I liked having both an inside door and an outside door opening to a private porch or balcony, a nice spot to relax. I pass through this area 4-6 times each month, and Best Western is now my preferred place to stay.

The beds are nice, but we saw multiple bugs crawling around, which makes us think the rooms aren't cleaned very well. When we first walked in, the bathroom smelled bad. There are stains on the floors and walls, and cobwebs on the walls too. The pool room is dirty and poorly maintained, and its outside door is left wide open late at night so anyone can get in. Service hasn't been good so far. Staff seem bothered to do their jobs and are slow to help.

We had a clean room, friendly service, and a great breakfast. The juice machine was temporarily out of order, but the bacon was nice and crispy. I'd recommend asking for a mirror over the desk. It would help moms get ready without having to compete with four others for space at the bathroom sink. 🤪 We stayed in room 301.

Kevin, if you see this, you're honest and an exemplary employee! I was on a school field trip with my daughter's middle school from SC, and we stayed here one night. I left my earbuds in the bed when we checked out at 8:30 a.m., but didn't notice until I got home at 11:30 p.m. I called and spoke with Kevin. He said the room hadn't been cleaned yet and that he'd watch for them, then went up himself to look. He found them! I called Monday morning and he still had them, and explained how to get them shipped back. My package arrived a few minutes ago. Kevin found the earbuds, packed them in Styrofoam inside a box, and made sure they'd get back to me safely. I emailed customer service about what happened, and they're passing my message along to hotel management for recognition. Kevin deserves more than that. He could have lied and I'd never have been able to prove otherwise, but he didn't. Honesty like that is rare in this world!
