I have to share how bad our stay was. This is easily one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. At check-in, the woman at the front desk looked down and away when she saw my daughter and me approaching, then directed us to a man beside her. When I asked him about nearby restaurants, he seemed bothered and uninterested in helping, and just pointed in a direction. I felt like guests weren’t respected or welcome. The room had no real beds, only pullout sofas, and there were no blankets, just a thin sheet. The front desk said they didn’t have blankets, only sheets. I turned up the heater so we wouldn’t be cold or get sick, but it made the night uncomfortable and I barely slept. We paid nearly $200 a night for a room without proper beds or blankets, basic things other standard hotels provide. Between the service and the room, the price was ridiculous. I would never recommend this hotel and will never book it again.

We left tired but happy, already talking about returning after a fun family trip to Wilderness at the Smokies in Sevierville, TN. The resort was clean, well organized, and easier to navigate than we expected for somewhere so large. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, with safety clearly a priority in the waterpark. Having food, activities, and places to relax all in one spot made the trip feel less hectic. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with enough space for our family to relax after the day. It felt made for families, not just overnight stays. We brought our two boys, who never got bored with all the waterpark options: slides, a wave pool, lazy river, and play areas kept them moving all day.

The included admission to Soaky waterpark was a great perk, and we had a blast there. Our whole family had an amazing time. Being able to reach Customer service by text was a huge plus. I’d definitely visit again.

Everything was very smooth, from making the reservation to checking in. I hit one small snag, but they fixed it. Everyone was super friendly, the room was very clean, and the waterpark bathrooms were clean too. The lifeguards did an amazing job keeping people safe, and safety felt like their top priority. I ate at the chicken place beside the bowling alley, and the food was delicious with generous portions. I don’t have much negative to say, though the arcade felt a little overpriced and the unlimited pass could include more.

We’ve been here about four times, and the kids love that there’s always something to do, even if the weather turns bad. We usually visit in spring, when it’s warmer, but this winter trip gave us a chance to try the ice skating, which was pretty cool. The rooms don’t seem more expensive than elsewhere, apart from the resort fee you wouldn’t pay at a typical hotel. The breakfast buffet is the part I don’t like. For a family of four, expect to spend $70 to $90, and I think that’s way too much for what you get, especially compared with the quality and price of food elsewhere. It might feel less bad if drinks were included, since you serve yourself and it’s only soft drinks and coffee. We’ve been here four days, and the 7-Up machine still isn’t fixed. It only dispenses water and bubbles, and tastes gross. I reported it, but it’s still unresolved.
