Front Row Townhouse

The view from the bay windows in the shared living room was unreal. We could clearly see a humpback whale, and there were binoculars for guests to share so we could watch wildlife from the living room or porch. The mountain range across the bay made the place worth every penny. We stayed three nights at Front Row, and every day was beautiful. Sarah was helpful the whole time. We arrived a little early, and she made us a priority and came over to welcome us. She recommended local food and entertainment and even helped book a whale watching tour. Fresh bread was provided in the morning, and the kitchen was well stocked with breakfast items. If you don’t want to cook, breakfast is served every morning in a separate home just behind the B&B, with plenty to choose from. We also got to spend time with Rica, the beautiful, friendly dog who sometimes naps in the sun outside the front door. She really helped with how much I missed my own fur babies back home. The locals in Seward were so welcoming that my husband and I never felt out of place or like wandering tourists. If you’re unsure about booking, take this as your sign to do it!

The harbor and mountain peak views are hard to beat. It felt like a warm, welcoming home away from home, with access to the downstairs common areas and breakfast at the sister property out back. A wonderful place to visit.

The house was gorgeous, with amazing views, and the host was so welcoming and kind. We could walk a block to another property where the host made breakfast, or use the stocked kitchen in our house to cook our own. It had all the comforts of home and then some!

My ground floor room was simple but functional and good value. The location right on the water was perfect, and there are laundry machines available. Sarah, the manager, makes a great breakfast across the block, and if you prefer cooking, there’s a shared kitchen in the building. The WiFi measured 73 Mbps down and 14 up. Still, step outside and watch for bald eagles.
