Knights Inn Seymour IN

Everything was ready in our rooms when the whole family arrived for our reservations. The night shift staff were very nice and helpful, and management was nice too. Rooms and beds were clean and neat, other guests were friendly, and every room had furniture and electronics. The bathrooms were clean, with good water pressure and hot water. We also liked the pool area. We were very pleased with our stay and look forward to coming back soon.

This was the worst hotel or motel experience I’ve had. The place badly needs updates, and the room looked nothing like the pictures. There was a strong cigarette smell, the refrigerator and some accent lights didn’t work, and the laminate floor felt oily. Hopefully they’d just used the wrong cleaning product. The bathroom floor was spongy and pulling away from the wall, the foundation seemed to be sinking, and the bathroom door didn’t line up or shut. There were strange glow-in-the-dark drawings on the ceiling above the bed. A message saying there were no refunds after 15-30 minutes felt like a shady warning about the kind of guests they get.

The room was clean and smelled good from the cleaning products. The TV worked well, and both the fridge and microwave were fully operable, so we had no complaints. The shower warmed up quickly and had excellent pressure, and the WiFi signal was strong enough to connect and use. The hotel is also conveniently placed for interstate access, with a wide variety of restaurants nearby.

The bed was comfortable, and for $75 we got two beds. It’s all on one level, so you can park by your door and walk right into the room. The room wasn’t very clean, though. There was hair on the bathroom floor around the tub and toilet, the ice bucket was dirty, and the tray it sat on had dead bugs. The furniture was really dusty.
