Keswick Hall

A nice mix of things to do here: a great golf course, decent gym, red clay tennis courts, pickleball, and pools for both adults and kids. There are lovely sitting areas with fireplaces and board games, too. Service and attention to detail were incredible all around. Food is available on site, and Charlottesville is about 15 minutes away.

The food at Marigold was unmatched, and the spa treatments were the best we've experienced. Our anniversary mini-getaway at Keswick Hall also had a stunning golf course, beautifully kept and peaceful, with views that made it a memorable part of the visit. The rooms were gorgeous, and the staff knew the area well and treated us with real kindness and care. They upgraded our room when they heard it was our anniversary, left us a personal note, and arranged a beautiful bouquet of freshly cut flowers for my husband to give me on the day itself. Turndown service was impeccable, and all the little touches made us feel looked after. We stay at quite a few luxury hotels, and Keswick Hall has quickly become our favorite. We hope to make it our anniversary destination every year.

Dinner at Marigold by Jean-Georges was the standout for me. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. I also enjoyed a quiet cocktail by the pool and time on the veranda. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, and seemed proud to work there. My room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and had comfortable bedding and soft colors. Waking up to its view felt calm and refreshing. Keswick Hall sits among the Blue Ridge foothills, with open views of Virginia's rolling countryside and a peaceful feeling far from the city. The approach, with its manicured lawns and distant mountains, sets a relaxing tone. It has a lovely blend of luxury and Virginia charm. I'll definitely return, there's nowhere else quite like it nearby.

Mari gold went above and beyond across the board. The BMW experience was a really cool bonus for getting around town, and the rooms are seriously spacious. Service was amazing from the moment we walked in. For me, this is a five-star-plus resort.
