Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Walton Beach-Eglin AFB

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was a strange noise from the toilet every 20 seconds, though I barely noticed it with the bathroom door closed. I left early and missed breakfast. It was my first stay here, and I'd come back for work. Decent place.

Those beds and the bedding were VERY comfortable, and the shower pressure was EXCELLENT. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping added nice touches with the towels, like hearts and animals. We stay in hotels a lot, and the staff here were the friendliest by far. Breakfast had plenty of choices, but the meats really need to be browned. Grey meat isn't appealing, and the scrambled eggs and cheese omelets were watery. The steam from the serving trays seems to water them down, an issue I see everywhere. If you can find a fix for that, we'll flock to your hotels. The bathroom sink overflows need serious attention.

We had a fantastic stay, and the staff bent over backwards to sort out the hot water problem as quickly as they could. We had to switch rooms a couple of times before we got hot water. They gave us a great upgrade to make up for it, which helped somewhat. The prices are great and there's plenty of amenities. They even make cookies for guests, which you don't see every day. We'd stay here again.

The breakfast was delicious, and the beds were comfortable. Hotel Manager Tanisha, front desk staff including Mr. Wayne and Mr. Larry, the breakfast ladies, and the cleaning staff all made us feel welcome and helped make our stay memorable. Fantastic hotel and award-winning staff. Thanks for showing us the best of Southern Hospitality. We'll be back.
