Customer service was very nice, which makes the state of the place a shame. My room smelled pungent, the sheets looked dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and the doorknob was broken. It was so unpleasant that although I’d paid for two nights, I gave up the reservation and paid extra to stay elsewhere. The owners really need to keep up with maintenance; even some basic cosmetic cleanup could make a big difference.

There were blood marks on the bathroom tiles, cigarette burns on the towels, old stains on the carpet, and a black mold smell as soon as we entered. After about 30 minutes I was struggling to breathe. We only stayed because a deer ran in front of our car that morning and left us stranded. This stay wasn’t worth the price, and the owners don’t seem to maintain the motel or care about it. Charging over $50 feels offensive for conditions like these. Please be cautious unless, like us, you’re dealing with an emergency. Buyer beware.

There were three of us sharing a double bed. The air conditioning worked well, and they went out of their way to send me a pillow I’d left in the room. Breakfast was simple, but the yogurt was good.

We hadn’t realized the motel used contactless entry, and no PINs had been sent for getting into the rooms. The mattresses were so flimsy that I fell off the corner. Then, the next morning, the manager or owner took it upon themselves to peep into my room. We never received breakfast. Buyer beware.
