We had to switch rooms because the first one smelled unbearably of smoke and dog urine. The replacement smelled of bleach and mildew, and both rooms had far too many bugs, especially gnats and flies. The floors were filthy, there was something spilled on the headboard and the wall picture, and mold covered the bathroom enough that you could smell it. Outside, the dumpster was overflowing and mattresses had been left out, alongside a filthy, run-down exterior. The area felt extremely sketchy. I’d give zero stars if I could. Stay away.

The staff are the reason I’d recommend staying here. They were kind and composed, and made me feel looked after. When a printing problem came up, they did everything they could so I’d have my important documents before checkout. They also replaced the broken TV the same day I mentioned it, and dealt with loud music in the parking lot within 20 minutes after I called at midnight. Those issues, plus a phone that didn’t work, had me thinking the booking was a bust during my first day. The place looked a little run down when I arrived, so I hadn’t expected much. It won’t be the Ritz, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well the staff treated me and would recommend this location for them.

We left and got a room elsewhere because my wife was scared to stay. The outside smelled from overflowing trash, and there were lots of riffraff in the parking lot. There was also a big commercial open container right across from our room. At first the room seemed large and new, but looking around showed a hole in the wall from the bathroom door, smelly towels with one dirty, a badly stained tub, and water that wouldn’t shut off. The tub faucet was loose with a gap at the top, and the room had an odor. There was no sign for the office, so you had to stand outside to check in. Everything was closed, with no breakfast, pool, or exercise room. I’ll try to get a refund. Stay away.

The breakfast was great, and the price was the only other plus. Otherwise, this place is a big no for me. The exterior wasn’t clean, and I saw one too many roaches. People stood outside my door talking loudly in the early morning hours. The front desk clerk was very rude. At checkout she banged on the door like she was the police and tried to push it open aggressively. Luckily, the latch was still on. I could say more, but don’t have the time.
