The Oasis Hotel & Bar

I love staying at The Oasis, and had an amazing time again. The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to meet my needs. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and I felt safe the whole stay. The kids enjoy it too. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

I’ve been lucky enough to stay here for almost three weeks. The rates are among the best I’ve found. I hate to call them cheap, but they’re definitely worth the money. The place is very clean and nice, just off the highway, with breakfast in the morning. There’s a hot tub and pool, lots of games for kids, and also a bar for anyone who wants one.

For the $153 we paid, this wasn’t worth it. The hot tub took an hour to fill, and the hot water only came out in a trickle. The linoleum was bumpy because it wasn’t glued down. The fitted sheets kept sliding off because they didn’t fit the bed. Cold air came in through the window, while the curtain was so long it covered the A/C heater unit. We also couldn’t lock the door with the secondary lock because it didn’t line up.

The room had mystery stains on the carpet, a brick hard mattress, and an air conditioner that screamed. Getting a towel seemed nearly impossible, too. The employees were unbelievably rude. At check-in, asking questions got me dramatic sighs, and the whole thing felt like I was asking them to donate a kidney. Customer service turned into customer suffering. This dump made a gas station bathroom sound like a five-star upgrade. It was like a horror movie mixed with a bad comedy. If you hate yourself, book a night. Otherwise, run.
