Sunset Beach Hotel

The food was awful and the prices felt unjustified, with no value for the money. The mussels tasted like onion soup, and the eggplant was sour and seemed spoiled. We asked for sunset seating but ended up tucked beside a bush with no view, and the service felt rushed. This seems more like a place to be seen than somewhere to eat. Save your money and go somewhere with better food and a better atmosphere.

We had a great experience and can’t wait to return. The restaurant was on point and the food was amazing. Our room had a great view, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us. My wife and I came to Sunset Beach for our 30th wedding anniversary, and we weren’t disappointed. The service was great.

We had fun on a late night out, though the kitchen closes at 7 p.m. We came back another day for food. The burger was a good portion, and the skinny fries went well with the chipotle aioli. The Espresso martini was enjoyable, but I didn’t think it was worth $25. Bees kept swarming the Frozé drinks, so I was constantly waving them away. They won’t hurt you, but it made for an uncomfortable meal, especially at those menu prices. In summer, choose your drinks carefully or you may have bees at your table.

The manager showed no respect for customers, and the restaurant staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. They openly shouted at a child who was just playing. Some customers left, and everyone was dissatisfied. The food was just okay.
