I waited in the parking lot for more than 15 minutes after arriving during the hotel’s posted open hours. The “open” sign was lit, but a paper notice on the door said the office was closed, and no one answered when I called. I ended up booking an Airbnb instead. There’s a video showing the sign and when I was there. The office is supposed to close at midnight. Now they won’t refund my stay, even though nobody was there to let me in. Terrible experience. I’d stay anywhere else in Sheridan.

A decent place to stop off the highway. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The guy at reception seemed unhappy there, though, and might be better off finding work somewhere he enjoys.

This is a small, family-run motel, and it does its job well. The room was clean, with fresh carpet, a new fridge and microwave, plus other updates. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don’t expect a sauna, hot tub, or pool. It’s a two-star place, but they’re upgrading it and doing a great job. The old reviews don’t reflect what we found.

The room was quiet and clean, and the AC worked amazingly well. I did notice a little cat smell, so I may have been in a pet room. The front desk guy was friendly and easy to talk to. It’s an older hotel with updated rooms, a full HD TV with Dish and HBO. For $50 a night, it was great. I’d stay again, though it’s not a five-star place.

We eventually got a full refund, but it took a frustrating chain of events. Our flight from out of state didn’t land until after the hotel had closed, and we couldn’t check in until an hour after closing. A local friend wasn’t allowed to collect our keys for us, and the hotel initially wouldn’t refund us, so we spent the first night somewhere with late check-in. We’d booked and paid for four nights. When we came back the next day, they said we couldn’t check in because our reservation had started the night before. I can understand the after-hours check-in issue, but the way they handled the rest made it feel like they didn’t want guests staying there.
