I understand the cancellation policy, but I still feel an exception should have been made. The day before our weekend trip, my cousin’s mother was hospitalized, so I had to cancel our reservation. The hotel said there was nothing they could do because we were outside the cancellation window. I explained it was an emergency beyond my control, and they repeated that they couldn’t help. I would have gladly shown proof. My cousin and I lost $180 and didn’t get to enjoy the weekend. I’ll never book here again, and I’ll tell people I know about how this was handled.

It wasn’t glamorous, but it suited my little family really well, and the price was very reasonable. The location and room size both pleasantly surprised me. We had a jacuzzi bathtub, a small balcony, and an ocean view from the room. My kid loved it.
