Lily had only just started there, but she was kind, professional, and warm, and even suggested nearby Indian food. We tried Saffron and liked it. The staff really stood out throughout our stay. Our top-floor room was spacious and comfortable, with lots of TV channels. The lobby smelled lovely, everything looked clean, and the furniture felt modern and bright. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit each morning and a Keurig-style machine offering coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, and more. There were bagels, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and packaged grits, but not many protein choices. Some hot or other protein-rich options would balance out the carb-heavy selection. That’s the one thing keeping this from a five-star review. The Microtel offered good value, comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly return, especially for staff like Lily, who made us feel welcome.

The room and bathroom were clean and nice, though the room itself is small. Breakfast has plenty of choices, with several coffees, hot chocolate, and orange or apple juice. They provide toiletries for free, and you can ask for something like shaving cream if you forgot it. I have no complaints and absolutely recommend staying here.

I always end up adding another day, this is my favorite place to unwind and have some casino fun. The beds are so comfortable I sleep longer and better than at home, and the room temperature is always just right. There’s a fridge, microwave, a cute comfy bench by the window for enjoying the view, and a handy little desk. The rooms are clean and lovely. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot just off the interstate, with a great location in Montgomery. Five stars from me!

The one thing I missed was a hot breakfast. They had waffles, cereal, and fruit, but bacon and eggs would have been just right. The automated coffee machine had lots of different options, which almost made up for it, almost! My room was cozy and comfortable, and the bed was soft and cushiony. The staff were friendly, and the place has a quaint charm. It’s tucked into a quiet part of Montgomery, AL, while major shops are only moments away and Wind Creek Casino is just a few minutes away. A wonderful little hidden gem, and I highly recommend it.

We got in at 2am and were helped without any trouble. The room was small but nice. When my husband went to the desk at 6am to report there was no hot water for my shower, they said they’d refund us. I needed a hot shower, though, so he told the guy that. The guy called his manager, then maintenance, and it was fixed within 30 minutes. They still should have given us a refund, or at least half, for the inconvenience. Otherwise, it was okay.
