2439 Fairfield

We went for an anniversary getaway, and Jimmy and Brian made us feel welcome right away. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the tomato grits. It's a quaint spot and a lovely place to unwind. Thanks for the southern hospitality!

Breakfast was fantastic, and the coconut fried pie is worth trying. The owners were personable and interesting, and there were fun little knickknacks everywhere. Our room stayed comfortable in the Shreveport humidity thanks to the air conditioner, and we had parking onsite. A very comfortable stay.

Coffee on the balcony was a favorite part of our stay, and there are plenty of outdoor spots to sit and unwind. Jimmy and Brian were warm, friendly, and accommodating, and made us feel like family. Our suite was upgraded at no extra charge when we arrived, and the Vicki Gail suite had so much care put into it. The antiques, decor, and craftsmanship throughout the house were incredible, and we had everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras we hadn't thought of. Breakfast at 9AM was delicious and fresh: biscuits, bacon, sausage, homestyle potatoes, crawfish tails in gravy, egg souffle, fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, coffee, fruit, lemon pound cake, muffins, and homemade fried pies. It was one of the best breakfasts we've had. This was our first bed and breakfast stay, and it won't be the last. 2439 Fairfield Bed & Breakfast felt like home, and was worth every penny. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The house had so many fun decorative details, and staying there felt like stepping back in time. The hosts were lovely, like visiting family, and I could listen to Jimmy's stories all day. They also give back to their community, which made supporting them feel even better. The food was amazing too. While you're nearby, the R W Norton museum and gardens are truly amazing.
