The grounds and pool at Bay Oaks are well kept, with nice views of the intercoastal waterway behind the grounds. It's about half a mile to the grocery store, beach, and restaurants. The AC and water supply were excellent, but the buildings are old and our unit, G12, needs a lot of work. The windows, screens, carpets, and some plumbing need maintenance. The washer is quirky, and the exhaust fan and surface stove lights don't work.
We had such a good time here and will definitely return. The condo was beautiful and very clean, the location was amazing, and everyone was really friendly. It's hard to choose between spending the evening at the beach or by the bay.
Joe, our host and owner, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and hospitable. His condo at Bay Oaks was beautiful, very clean, well supplied, and tastefully decorated. We had a wonderful week there and would recommend Joe's place to anyone visiting Siesta Key.
A short walk away are several incredible beaches, and you can also get there by free taxi or trolley. The condos are beautiful, with dock access, a heated pool, covered parking, tennis courts, and a screened lini in each unit. Made for a perfect beach trip.
