BeachPoint Cottages

We loved the small, intimate setting and still felt we had privacy. It’s right in the heart of Siesta Key, with the beach just steps away and restaurants and shops close by. Having beach chairs and bikes free to use was such a nice gesture. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We’ve stayed here twice in the last two years, and I really want to love it. The location is perfect for walking to the village, and the beach is literally steps away. Service is usually good, and management is very attentive by text for normal things. But when we arrived to find the toilet clogged and leaking onto the floor, it took an hour to hear back and another hour to get it fixed. Having to walk to the village to find a restroom was frustrating, especially since it’s very difficult unless you go to a paying restaurant. Not the start you want for a trip. We stay in the studio, but it’s no longer suitable for us because of moisture and mold. If mold triggers a health condition for you, this place isn’t for you. There’s no dehumidifier, bathroom vent, or fan, and parts of the floor feel squishy. The room had just been updated during our first year, so it wasn’t as much of an issue then, but its condition has declined since. The bed is very comfortable, though I’d bring your own pillows. The shower head is extremely low, and it’ll be hard to use if you’re over 5'10''. Those seem like easy fixes if they wanted to make them, but I don’t know if they have any plans to.

My husband and I drove from Tampa for a four-day weekend, and staying here felt like wonderland! We were in cottage 1, which I think is just the right size for a couple, maybe with a child. It was clean and peaceful, and the staff were fantastic, always just a text or call away and attentive to what we needed. There’s no front desk, but that wasn’t a problem. The location made everything so easy. The beach and Siesta Village shops and restaurants are both nearby, so we never needed the car. We walked or rode one of the bikes provided by the property. It was our first time here, and we had an amazing mini getaway. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks to the staff!

We stayed in unit number four and loved it. The grounds are tropical and welcoming, with the beach just across the street and town about a five-minute walk away. It was perfect for my husband and me, and I can’t wait to return.
