Bring a horse if you've got one, and dogs are welcome too. There are about 3 miles of hiking trails attached to the property. Breakfast is homemade and included in the room price, and there's an in-house restaurant if you make a reservation 24 hours ahead. It's a lovely Zen getaway tucked into the hills of the Gilas. Don't expect a TV in the room, there aren't any. Instead, you get a chance to practice your socializing skills, which we'd gotten a bit rusty at since the infamous lock down. Love this place!!

The lodge doubles as an art gallery, which I loved. I hadn't expected to see the 1 million bones project, so that was a surprise. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, and a great visit. We'll be back!

The setting and ambiance were beautiful, and you could tell how much care went into the details. Chef Claire & staff gave us a delectable dinner, and the whole evening felt special and memorable.

The grounds were wonderful for a walk, or just sitting on the porch with coffee. We spent four nights at the end of March and really enjoyed the lodge's relaxed vibe. Our room, "Cabeza De Vaca", was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony. Breakfast came with the stay, and we liked having a different selection each morning. The servers were attentive and friendly, and staff were around whenever we needed anything. Silver City nearby is an eclectic, fun town. We visited museums and restaurants there. When we accidentally left our sunglasses behind, the Lodge arranged to mail them to us in Texas, which says a lot about how much they care. It was exactly the quiet getaway we wanted, away from major tourist areas. Highly recommend.

The rooms are lovely, the service was great, and the morning breakfast and coffee were outstanding. We came to hike in the area and stayed here for the first time. It's a beautiful spot among the trees on the edge of Silver City. You'll enjoy your stay.
