Everyone we met, from the front desk to the restaurant, was friendly and helpful. The resort had a peaceful, more adult feel, and we found our stay quiet and relaxing. Our king room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a private patio that was a nice place to spend time outside. A few things in the bathroom were off: the tub had a dip that left an inch or two of water sitting there, and we had to scoop it toward the drain. Water also pooled while we showered, and a few small ants were crawling around the tub near the caulking. The water didn’t get very hot or heat up quickly, perhaps because the heater was older. Those issues weren’t too bad, but weren’t what we expected. Aside from them, we had a wonderful stay.

We chose this place because it welcomes dogs and is about 25 minutes from Silver Falls. Having a full-service restaurant was another plus. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were good, and room service was good too. We came in very early March, before it was time to see the gardens, but did catch a double rainbow on the drive back from the falls. Good value, and we’ll stay again on our next visit.

Dinner at the Fireside was excellent, and we really enjoyed the live music. It was a bit too loud for a room that size, though, and made conversation hard. I liked the room and its setup, but the pillows cost it a star. There were four, which could’ve been useful if they came in different thicknesses. As a side sleeper, every one of them was too thick for me. We also noticed a few sugar ants in the bathroom. We’d still recommend the place and would stay again if we get the chance.

Oregon Garden Resort was just the getaway my husband and I needed. It’s tucked away among beautiful surroundings, and the place was quiet. We loved the cute rooms and especially the fireplace. The staff were so friendly, and the food was spot on. We’ll definitely come back, hopefully soon.

We’re older and don’t get around too easily, so it was ideal having the Christmas Market only steps from our room. Everyone working there was friendly and ready to help. The room had a fireplace, a patio with a table and chairs, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. We also found a new favorite wine and took about 100 photos of the Christmas lights. The signs from I5 could be better, but we made it. Silverton was an impressive little town, and we loved the trip. We’ll definitely go again.
