Best Western Posada Royale Hotel & Suites

The property and our room were both clean, and breakfast was good each morning. The breakfast staff were accommodating, too. Courtney made the stay especially nice: she welcomed me at check-in, then was there again several days later when I checked out. She was kind and efficient both times, and made a great first impression. One of the gems of the Best Western family. Thanks again, Courtney.

The sheets and towels were clean, but that didn't make for a restful stay. When we came back on our second day, a party was going on in the room below us. It was only 7:30 p.m., and the music and bass were very loud. The front desk said it would go on until 10. We were exhausted and surprised they'd put us directly above a planned party, especially with the hotel seeming so empty. They offered to move us, but we didn't have the energy to pack up when we were checking out the next morning anyway. That was a mistake. The noise didn't stop until nearly 11 p.m., after my husband got out of bed and spoke to the front desk again. We won't stay here again.

They remember me by name whenever I come back, and the rooms are always clean. I also like the hot breakfast, the dog-friendly policy, and having restaurants and shops within walking distance. This is the only place I want to stay when I visit Simi Valley. Give it a try if you're looking for somewhere to stay.

The pool and spa were great, and the location worked well for our visit to the Reagan Library. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and the area seemed clean and safe. The staff were friendly, the property was well maintained, and our room was neat and clean. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the made-to-order omelets. I'd absolutely stay here again.
